BPSC TRE 4 School Teacher Form : Age Limit (As on 01 August 2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 years for Classes 1 to 5 and 6 to 8.
• Minimum Age: 21 years for Classes 9 to 10 and 11 to 12.
• Maximum Age: 37 years for UR Male candidates.
• Maximum Age: 40 years for UR Female and BC/EBC candidates.
• Maximum Age: 42 years for SC/ST candidates.
• Age relaxation will be applicable to eligible candidates as per BPSC rules.

School Teacher 1 to 5

• Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks along with a B.Ed. Degree.
• Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with a Diploma in Elementary Education.
• 10+2 Intermediate with 50% marks and a 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education/Special Education.
• 10+2 with 45% marks as per 2002 norms along with a 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education.
• 10+2 with 50% marks and a 4-Year B.El.Ed. Degree.
• Master’s Degree with 55% marks along with a 3-Year B.Ed.-M.Ed. Degree.
• Candidates must have qualified CTET Paper I or BTET Paper I.

Middle School 6 to 8

• Graduation with a 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.Ed.).
• Graduation/Post Graduation with 50% marks along with a B.Ed. Degree.
• Graduation with 45% marks and B.Ed. as per NCTE norms.
• Graduation with 50% marks along with B.A. B.Ed. or B.Sc. Ed.
• Graduation with 50% marks and a B.Ed. Special Education qualification.
• Post Graduation with 55% marks along with a 3-Year B.Ed.-M.Ed. course.

• Post Graduation in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks along with a B.Ed. Degree.
• Post Graduation in the relevant subject with 45% marks as per 2002 norms, along with B.Ed.
• Post Graduation in the relevant subject with a 4-Year B.A.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed. Degree.
• Master’s Degree with 55% marks along with a 3-Year B.Ed.-M.Ed. Degree.
